Single Review: Jessie Ware-Night Light

English singer/songwriter Jessie Ware was once called “the missing link, between Adele, SBTRKT and Sade” by Clash Magazine, and her debut album, Devotion, reached number five in the UK music chart, but here at Sound And Motion we think her music is dull, dull, dull.

Despite having quite a nice voice Ware just doesn’t cut it with us, she just seems to belong on a soulless dance track. Night Light is a boring song, it isn’t awful, but it’s not exactly listenable either, it’s just beige.

We might be alone in thinking this.
